iron throne with group of people around

A new date and new venue for 2019 didn't slow down the most entertaining charity event on the annual calendar as over 1,000 fun-loving devotees showed up at Woodlands Backyard on April 27th to share in 10,000 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon "for the kids".

Larry Fortson kicked off the festivities with an outstanding few minutes on the bagpipes which led into our opening band, New Park Drive, and the PBR10K'19 was underway.

The fun included another record set for the 10,000th PBR Auction as great friends of the Parker Lee Foundation, Grant Hundley and Jeff Stiteler (with an assist from previous auction winner Rob Zedeker) came together to deliver an incredible record-setting $2000 bid.

10,000 beer winners congratulating each other

And as always, the ingenuity of the PBR10K crowd never disappoints, a PBR Throne was constructed as well as the traditional PBR limbo bars.

Most important of all, this beautiful day produced a $27,500 donation to Directions For Youth & Families. Little known fact, DFYF CEO, Duane Casares was on the keyboards in the second band, Hello, My Name is Duane.

PBR10K’20 will take place at Woodlands Backyard, April 25, 2020, with our first ever theme - PBR Prom, complete with King and Queen. Start your planning now, only 11 months.

We can't thank the following individuals and companies enough for all of their support in making our 12th PBR event the greatest one yet.
