Beth wearing the Lampshade Award

It's not a party until someone has a lampshade on their head is the thought.

The Parker Lee Foundation has hosted many a party in our day, but earlier this year just came to the realization we were lacking an award for the participant who gave the most at each of our events. An MVP prize perhaps. And the Lampshade Award was born.

The creator of the Lampshade, Beth Rickard, is shown above modeling the finished product at the prestigious Parker Lee Film Fest in February.

The inaugural winner of the Lampshade Award at the PLFFF was the one and only Bonnie Cline. Bonnie was chosen on her remarkable likeness of Mrs. Smails in Caddyshack which was part of the double bill that day at Studio 35.

She signed the Lampshade and cemented her place in PLF history. Next up, the PBR10K on 7/31. Expect plenty of contenders to step up that day to become legendary
